We've been building. Here's what's new on MarketStreet. 🌱

Word of mouth. A trusted referral. Showing up where the right people are looking. These are the things that actually move the needle for local businesses — and they’re exactly what we’ve been building toward.
Here’s everything that’s new on the platform.
Get vouched for. Build trust that gets you found.
Word of mouth is how most small businesses win new customers — and now it lives on your profile.
When another business vouches for you on MarketStreet, it signals to everyone browsing the platform that you’re someone worth working with. It’s the digital version of a trusted referral, and it stays on your profile permanently.
You can request a vouch from any business on the platform directly, or send a request by email — right from your profile page. And if you’ve worked with businesses you’d genuinely recommend, vouching for them takes 30 seconds and makes a real difference for them.
Here’s what a vouch looks like in practice — this is one we gave to Palette Collective, the team behind MarketStreet’s design:
Find the right businesses to work with — nearby, vetted, and recommended.
Whether you need a caterer, a contractor, a web designer, or a cleaning crew, you can now browse MarketStreet’s full business directory by category and filter by location or vouched status.
Every business on the platform is verified. The vouched ones come with a built-in recommendation from someone already in your network — so you’re not starting from zero when you reach out.
Show up in person. Create an Event.
Some of the best business relationships start in a room together.
You can now create in-person or virtual events on MarketStreet and invite members from across the platform. Events can also live inside specific groups, so whether it’s a chamber meeting, an industry mixer, or a neighborhood pop-up — the right people will find it.
